    Accessibility Policy

    Last Updated: August 2026

    1. Our Commitment

Taphouse 6 LLC ("Taphouse 6," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to making taphouse6.com (the "Site") accessible to as many people as possible, including guests with visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive disabilities. We view accessibility as an ongoing effort, not a one-time fix, and we welcome feedback that helps us improve.

    2. Standard We Are Working Toward

We have targeted the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — a widely recognized standard for web accessibility — as the standard for the Site.

    3. What We Have in Place Today

At launch, the full Site was tested using automated accessibility scanning tools. That testing did not identify outstanding accessibility issues against the WCAG 2.1 AA criteria the tooling is able to evaluate.

This testing was automated only; it was not paired with manual testing or testing by an individual using assistive technology such as a screen reader.

    4. Online Ordering and the New Freedom/Shrewsbury Kiosk

Online ordering at both locations is handled through our third-party ordering partner, which maintains its own accessibility practices for its ordering interface.

At our New Freedom/Shrewsbury location, in-restaurant ordering is primarily done through a tablet at the table. If a guest is unable to use the tablet due to a disability, our team is available to assist with placing the order directly.

    5. Accessibility Features We Aim to Support

Where possible, we aim for the Site to support:

    • Keyboard navigation without requiring a mouse
    • Compatibility with common screen-reading software
    • Sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds
    • Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images
    • Clear, consistent navigation and page structure
    • Resizable text that doesn't break page layout

These are goals we are actively building toward rather than guarantees about every page and feature today.

    6. Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the Site may not yet be fully accessible. This may include third-party embedded content (such as our online ordering flow or reservation tools) that we do not fully control, or older content that has not yet been reviewed.

    7. Feedback and Assistance

If you experience any difficulty accessing content on the Site, or need information in an alternative format, please contact us. We will make reasonable efforts to respond promptly and provide the information, item, or service you need through an alternative method.

    8. Ongoing Efforts

Accessibility is an ongoing process. We plan to periodically review the Site and make improvements as we identify opportunities, and we welcome feedback at any time using the contact information above.

    9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Accessibility Policy from time to time as our practices evolve. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
