Taphouse 6
Frequently Asked Questions
Our goal is to provide top quality customer service to everyone who patrons our
restaurant. We cannot do that if we are constantly answering phone calls which distract us from taking care of the guests in the restaurant! For that reason we do not have an in house phone to accept incoming calls. If you need to contact us for any reason you may do so using the link on this website, emailing us at info@taphouse6.com, or contacting us through messenger on our Facebook page. We constantly monitor these accounts and usually respond in a quick manner. If we don't, it is probably because we are busy in the restaurant.
Here are the answers to some commonly asked questions:
Do you take reservations or call ahead seating?
No, we operate on a 1st come, 1st serve basis only.
How do I place a carry out order?
Carry out orders are only taken using the on line ordering link on our web site. Orders are placed and paid for online, and we notify you via text when your order is ready to be picked up.
Why isn't the carry out link working?
Our on line ordering system is smarter than we are. It is programmed to stop accepting orders if we cannot fulfill them in a reasonable time taking into account in house dining as well as carry out orders already in the system. Simply stated, we are not going to keep taking orders if we can't prepare them in a reasonable time. This is for the benefit of our staff, the customers who have already ordered, as well
as for you.
Are you currently on a wait?
On most evenings we do go on a wait. In order to make things comfortable for our guests we ask that you wait in your car. Once added to our waitlist, our hosts take your phone number and give you an estimated time that your table will be ready. Please note this is an educated guess and not an exact
science! Once your table is almost ready, we will text you to start heading in.
Regarding larger parties:
We do have very limited space for groups up to 10 people to sit together but you should anticipate a longer wait unless your party can break into smaller groups. Our dining room is small therefore it is difficult to sit larger groups. On Friday and Saturday any party larger than 8 will be split into 2 groups under most situations.
Do you offer outdoor dining?
We do have an outdoor dining area that is lighted open air dining. Our outdoor area can only accommodate groups of 4 or less at each table and tables cannot be moved or placed together to form larger tables. Our outdoor area is not always open for "full service" due to staffing and weather conditions but can be used for self service to enjoy a cocktail on the patio or you can place a mobile order
and enjoy it on the patio when it is not being used for full service dining. We will do our best to update our facebook page when outdoor dining is available for full service.
